Been listening to iHeartRadio and Amazon prime mostly. I think Spotify and the Apple service have largest catalogs.
I suspect this will hit another sour note with many listeners
Self-righteous idiots will hear what self-righteous idiots wants to hear - the first sentence is all-inclusive - twit....
Does anyone have a list of other apps or sites that have similar responses or leanings. I’d be happy to remove them.
He’s a clever cleaver... :)
If you’re not paying, Pandora gets ad revenue. It’s probably based on how many listeners are receiving the ads.
I did see Pandora ‘s Facebook page. Anyone dropping Pandora is being called a racist exercising “white privilege”.
Everything after that point, if anything, strengthens the notion that they recognize the deaths of those who were shot by the police, as being more worthy of mourning than the police that were shot.
"We stand for racial justice, we stand for equity"
"#BlackLivesMatter"
Yes, they have taken a side. In a Clintonian way they may have walked right up to the line without technically crossing it, but I'm not James Comey and I'm not going to let them slime by and just go on as if nothing had happened.
Why are libtard-run companies emboldened to shove their libtardiness in everyone's face? I'm sure if Pandora had put up a #BlueLivesMatter post or something honoring the assassinated officers, a bunch of paid rabble would be marching circles around their building chanting stupid slogans. Or, the IRS would start combing their filings.
For myself, I have a job, so no marching around and earning Soros' money $15 per hour. But, I can take a few seconds and tell them why this corporate choice on their part has cost them a customer with disposable income, who will now advocate for their competition. Unless you're baking a cake, you still have a theoretical freedom to associate with whomever, for now.
Your haiku gets bonus points for conflating “box” with “beaver”, which I thought was witty and clever, for FR anyways.
Guess that’s me.
They prorate annual Pandora One subscriptions when cancelling, if paid thru Pandora. Yay!
iHeart, Spotify, others will take Pandora’s place in my life. Too bad, again. Get successful, feel ya just gotta blab on a social issue, and let the wind blow the money out of your wallet.
Stupid, indoctrinated, degreed yuppie business managers strike again.
If an organization chooses to promote their political views, I can choose to spend my money elsewhere. No one forced them to expose themselves. One should be fully aware of what groups they are aligning themselves with, should they wish to go public with their alliance. I, for one, find aspects of BLM offensive, and my distaste for their values trumps my recreational music...no hate, just discernment. Others may chose to sign up with them because of this...I’m sure they knew exactly what they were posting.
Thanks for the heads up. I had no idea, and I pride myself on being informed.
Deletion happening tonight!
How is that not recognizing the sacrifice of the cops?
All I can say is, wake up and smell the coffee.
It takes reading between the lines as a fine art today to discern the real message. As others have aptly noted, no mention of cops is even hinted at.
I just switched to I HEART Radio.
So far, seems to be working out okay.
What would be better is a music service that would play more than 25% of the artist for whom the channel is named. I looked forward to Nat King Cole songs back to back on his channel, but got a lot of filler.
