I heard zero today stammering through a press conference and among other things he was saying you can’t go back to a non-globalist world because it’s so last century and technnology has changed everything. I wondered if he believed what he was saying....maybe he really believes as Soros tells him that there should be no borders in this world.

The idiot Obama doesn’t know what he’s stuttering about.

Obama?

Historically, the GOP has always been main promoter of foreign trade. All of the existing free trade agreement were negotiated by republicans: Reagan, Bush 1, and Bush 2.

Bush 1 negotiated NAFTA but it was ratified after Clinton came in. Bush 2 negotiated CAFTA and Chile and those were ratified during his term. OTOH, Bush 1 negotiated Panama, Columbia, and Korea but those were ratified after Obama became prez.

Obama is the first democrat to be given fast track authority and he has been completely transparent in his negotiations.

The unions/blue collar workers and the enviros are not necessarily opposed free trade agreements. They complain because the investor protections far exceed the protections for labor and the environment.

So when Hillary says she is not opposed to TPP but is opposed to TPP as it is now written, she is saying that protections for labor and environment in TPP need to be enhanced.
