I attended a Jewish wedding a few years ago. I wore a yarmulke. I guess that makes me Jewish. Oy vey!
I agree that little can be learned about a guy from the garments he is required to wear to be part of a wedding party. It’s not like you have any choice.

I went to an open house at a Temple and wore the cover when taking the sanctuary tour.
I’ve been to a few more of the open house events there since they have a great food festival too.
