Political affiliation is just a matter of transitory convenience. Politicians like him are like wind vanes: they point in the direction of the prevailing political winds.
FBI Director James Comey has been touted for many months by nearly 100% of the mainstream media as a man of impeccable reputation. Someone who will uphold the rule of law. That all came crashing down less than 48 hours ago.
Comey’s roots to President Obama and the Clintons are deep. Comey took his law degree at the Univ. of Chicago – the place where Obama later taught.
In 1996, Comey was selected as deputy special counsel to the Senate Whitewater Committee, where, after months of investigations, both Clintons were found innocent of wrong-doing.
On President Bill Clinton’s last day in office, Jan. 20, 2001, he pardoned 450 people, including criminals who had made payments for him to do so – a sort of lovely parting gift for the outgoing POTUS.
After taking charge of the subsequent investigation of what was then called PardonGate. Again, Comey found no illegality and exonerated the Clintons, despite clear evidence of bribery and despite President Carter calling the pardons, “disgraceful.”.....excerpt

What about his wife and family? Guys like Comey and Roberts want to be popular with friends and family. They would rather ruin our country than ruin their Thanksgiving family dinner.

I don't doubt that Comey's compromised, but that is a pretty big stretch. Obama was just a 'guest lecturer' at the University of Chicago, and I doubt he actually taught anyone.
It could equally be said that Obama attended undergraduate school at Occidental. Which is in California. And El Cid lives in California. Thus El Cid must be an Obamaphile...
The other connections to Clinton might be legit, but the University of Chicago connection was an irrelevant factoid.

Virginia voters do not register by party, and voting in primaries is open to anyone.
Perhaps where Comey previously lived, you could not vote in the primaries unless you were registered with a political party. I don’t know where he previously lived before moving to VA.
Doesn’t matter, felons can’t vote.
