It is for people who wouldn’t so t through a speech by Donald Trump because they have drunk the kool-aid, and who rely on the news media, and especially the New York Times, to sift through the news and analyze it for them. Unfortunately, the reality of what he said, and even the reality of who he is, doesn’t matter nearly as my as what they publish. The reality doesn’t even exist in the annals of history. It’s what is published in the news that forms people’s views.
