There won’t be riots.
I like a lot of what Trump says and will gladly vote for him over Clinton ... but if this far into it Trump can’t command the loyalty of 50%+1 of the delegates, what friggin’ chance does he have to get the GOTV work done he needs for a clean run of Iowa, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylavia, all of which Obama carried twice and two of which were last won by a Republican in 1988, and which is the likely ticket to the White House for him given adverse population shifts in GWB states of Florida, Colorado, Nevada and 1-of-2 NH and NM.
What part of their obligation do they not understand? Furthermore, isn't anyone who tries to change the conditions under which they were nominated liable to be sued for breach of contract?
Are the elite really this far removed from accepting that us little folk get to vote for the nominee, and our votes matter? They disgust me.
What not a one of them realize, is that there are far more Trump supporters than there are of them and no matter what they were promised, no matter how much the hate Trump, there are many MILLIONS of Americans who shan't allow this crap to happen.
You might ask "how". The answer to that is quite simple....the ballot box.
Get your knickers untwisted. Everything is going to be just fine
Ignore fools like randy
Get out the vote
Of course he can win those states.
That’s why the party wants to stop him and overrule the will of the voters.
The GOPe would rather have Hillary than Trump, pure and simple.
A lot of these delegates are self-righteous jerks who are personally offended that their candidate (likely Cruz) did not win. This is the ultimate in narcissism, to think that you are so important as a delegate and that your decision is so important that you have the right to negate the will of millions of voters. I didn’t like Bob Dole, I didn’t care about George W. Bush, I didn’t want McCain, and I didn’t prefer Romney, None of them were “principled” or constitutional conservatives or even very conservative but I voted for them anyway. Sickening behavior by adults! This is a movement led by the worst of some of the so-called Republican leadership.
