Wow! Ben Carson as become smooth at dealing with the media. Despite Blitzer's attempts at gotchas, Carson masterfully defanged Blitzer. Carson reminds me of Newt in his way of dealing with the press. Carson really has improved a lot.

That’s good to hear. Perhaps he too is on that long short list of Trump’s VP consideration.

Thank you Dr.Carson. You will make a fine Surgeon General for Donald Trump if
“luck will be a lady on that night”.
Not for VP tho.

Carson would be a good VP choice. He compliments the Donald’s exuberance with a calm and discerning demeanor.

Donald can get all the help he needs with Congress once he wins big. Christie, Giuliani, Sessions,Flynn, and Newt etc. will round out a great cabinet.

Folks keep proposing Carson for Surgeon General. Yes he’s a physician, but Surgeon General is such an inconsequential post that his talents, character, and (especially) his common sense would be wasted there. How inconsequential is it? - so much so that we survived a number of years of dumb-as-a-sack-of-rocks Dr. Joycelyn Elders in that position, with little lasting effect on the Republic.

If there’s a cabinet post for Carson I’d propose Secretary of HEW - Ben survived the worst of a ghetto environment, and overcame inferior schools to become a top-in-his-field surgeon - if anybody could cut through the welfare state good intentions and bureaucratic horse pucky, I’d expect he could.
