Top Republicans said Tuesday that the FBI needs to release details of its investigative files on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton if it wants voters to accept its conclusion that her carelessness with top secret information doesnt rise to the level of a prosecutable crime.
House Speaker Paul D. Ryan said FBI Director James Comeys decision not to recommend prosecution defies explanation, and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley said Mr. Comey needs to do more to convince Americans he made the right call.
If it wants to avoid giving the impression that the FBI was pulling punches, because many people in a similar situation would face some sort of consequence, the agency must now be more transparent than ever in releasing information gathered during its investigation, Mr. Grassley, Iowa Republican, said.

*YAWN*
There has now been an official unveiling of our 2 tiered [IN] Justice system. One side if you are rich & powerful you can get away with ANYTHING under the sun, the other side, you are guilty of what every the rich & powerful want until you prove yourself innocent [with 99.9% of the time you will NOT be able to do]
Then people will be hollering, wailing & gnashing of their teeth about it, but in the end NOTHING will get done about it. And since the so called election cycle is controlled by the same 2 CORRUPT, CRIMINAL Org’s, Our voices will no longer be heard, our pleas will no longer be heard by lawyers or the courts [for they are CORRUPT AS WELL] . We just celebrated the nations 240’th birthday & we have spit upon what our forefathers have died & suffered for.
So when is it time to pick up a rifle & storm the fences of dc? I say the time has long past!
SIC SEMPER TRANYANIS!!
There are only two ways to get rid of Hillary from power. One is illegal (not that she hasn’t stooped to using it when it suited her own ends, but I digress). The other is to elect Donald Trump. We MUST accomplish the latter.
Yes lets have another 2 years of hearings with a big GOPe fart at the end.
Hillary was deliberate every step of the way. In fact, she was extremely careful and got away with it....despite the fact that her position is one of National Security.
word
sorry the computer crashed and oops it’s all gone
Sure, like Mitch & Lyan Ryan are going to do anything..they’re too busy knocking down Trump.
This smells like UniParty Kabuki theater, like Red versus Blue “pro” wrestling.
I hope that Prez Trump reopens the case and indicts Crooked Hillary, in Jan 2017.
And the little punk Ryan thinks he is somehow relevant?
Nothing but a little snooty punk.
Pffft ... Ryan dirt bag.
The FBI and DOJ just stuck their fingers in our collective eye and Trey Gowdy found not much more in the report from the house.
Kabuki
The FBI didn't look very hard. There have been several recent examples cited today.
In general, the DoJ threatens to prosecute someone who mishandles classified information with a felony, and then offers them a plea bargain for a misdemeanor. This is what happened with Petraeus, although in that case apparently it was Petraeus that threatened to drag the entire affair out into public via the trial.
It ain’t gonna matter. Too little too late. She’s slicker than slick Willy.
Levin was right about Trey Gowdy from the start, and this clown Grassley will be silenced before Obama’s next stammer. Which should be within minutes.
Yes. And they’ll spend millions and millions investigating this only to have hitlary or one of her minions show them the FBI files she has, and all of a sudden, they’ll drop everything.
Yawn.
They love the decision by Comey...it’s great for fundraising.
