I have to laugh everytime I hear some tourist skier at Big Sky proclaim that they are leaving to return to “civilization”. The airport is quite near Bozeman, a People’s Republic if there was ever one. Now that a Habor Freight Store has arrived, there is NO reason not to live nearby.
Bozeman is not a ‘Peoples Republic’ - that’s Missoula.
Lots of industry and high tech here in the ‘Zone.
Sure there are some leftists but there is a lot of conservative presence as well.
Damn. I had Bozeman as a fall back. Best days fishing on the Yellowstone.
