Someone at the FBI must quit and spill his guts fast. There will be tons of articles and opinions written about this in the upcoming weeks. But what you said there is now the ONLY thing that really matters.
Because, no, Trump cannot leverage this into some great campaign issue. The FBI said move along now. And unless someone at the FBI comes clean, "move along now" is all the average person is going to take from this mess.
