Syrian Refugees Admitted to U.S. More Than Doubled in June; 0.3 Percent Were Christians

The “surge” of Syrian refugee admissions first announced by the State Department last spring hit a new peak during June – 2,381 refugees, or more than double the number permitted to resettle in the United States in May.

Of them, eight (0.3 percent) are Christians and 2,364 (99.2 percent) are Sunni Muslims. The remainder comprise eight other Muslims, and one refugee giving no religious affiliation, according to State Department Refugee Processing Center data.

In comparison, 1,069 Syrian refugees were admitted during May, of whom two were Christians and 1,060 were Sunnis. The other seven were other Muslims.

With the more than doubling of the number of admissions between May and June, the administration now looks, after a sluggish start, to be on track to meet President Obama’s target of 10,000 Syrian refugee admissions during fiscal year 2016.

As of the end of June – and the number did not change on Friday, July 1 – the total number of Syrian refugees allowed to resettle in the U.S. stands at 5,186. With three months of FY 2016 to go, the administration will need to admit an average of 1,604 Syrian refugees each month in July, August and September, to hit the target.

A missing data point here is the number of Christians applying to come to the USofA. I do NOT KNOW that there are large number of Christians but it would be logical that they would want to come here. Still, the Muslim to Christian percentage in Syria pre-war was very high and that now influences the numbers & percentages.

What we do know is that Christians in the region are being slaughtered, not only by ISIS but also by the so-called Syrian rebels, who self-identify as "Al Qaeda". That Christian refugees who get to the boats are being tossed overboard by the muslims on board. That Christians who make it to the camps are attacked in the camps, that Christians who make it as far as Germany are attacked in the streets by muslim "refugees".

We further know that State Department rules state that if you are on the run from ISIS or Al Qaeda, you do not qualify as a refugee. You have to be on the run from a governmental entity. If you are chased out of your home by ISIS, they are not an official government therefor you do not qualify as a refugee by State rules. If you support ISIS and you are chased out of your home by Syrian soldiers, they are a government entity and you therefor do qualify as a refugee.

Which means that Christians, the ones who survive being murdered by ISIS, and manage to survive being murdered by the other refugees, have been effectively banned from the US. And in fact we have seen Syrian Christians here being deported because they didn't qualify as refugees.
