“All Trump has to do is win 70% of the White vote and he wins in a landslide, without help from any other ethnic group...And he WILL have help.”

Precisely, and with that help, closer to 60%, maybe low 60s. Definitely achievable considering how much the Democrats DESPISE white voters (unless they are special interest). Hard to believe that the Republicans, other than Trump, have ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST in targeting them - their natural constituency.

Actually, not so hard to believe - all you have to do is understand the motives of their big-money financiers.

what he [Trumka] is doing to ensure the organization’s 12.5 million members will actively support Clinton and reject Trump

Slashing tires.

“White collar Republicans, like myself, are also supportive of the message. “

Egghead academic Republicans like myself are also in favor of Trump’s stance on trade.

The first policy statement trump made was about immigration but it also applies to trade: “You can’t have a nation without borders and you can’t have a nation without laws”

That is the boiled down bare bones of the issues in this election, do we have a nation or do we not?

Screw free trade....the kind of free trade we have been engaging in has been a disaster for wages and employment. Only the upper classes benefit. And the plutocrats too.

I would allow some electronics to come here without tariffs but everything else can be made here. IOW why import refrigerators and washing machines?
