I’m part Jewish and take no offense whatsoever from this. And it has nothing to do with the fact that I’m a Trump supporter. So before you start making charges that this is offensive to an entire group of people, think again. The angry Jewish left doesn’t speak for me. Neither do you.

I agree with you there. It is not deserving of the charge but that does not mean they won't make the charge, as they have indeed. So why not review these things before they go out?
Sheriff Andy Taylor and Deputy Barney Fife are Anti Semites. Just look at the Badges they wear, six pointed. It can’t be an accident.
Sheriff Buford T. Justice has avoided such controversy by wearing a seven pointed Badge, not that six pointed Badge that those Jew Haters from Mayberry wear.

I have no problem with that. But you can spend your life trying to predict the ways the left will twist an innocent comment into a cause for outrage, and you’ll still never be able to avoid ‘offending’ them. A six sided star just happens to be a sheriff’s star as well as a star of David, so there’s nothing inherently offensive in putting the comment inside a sheriff’s star. When you start jumping through the artificial hoops the left creates, then they’ve already won.
If I were Trump, I’d simply say, “The star was not meant in the way you’re claiming. I have nothing to apologize for. Now how about you focusing on real news like Hillary’s malfeasance rather than fake news?

There was NOTHING wrong with using that star and it suggested NOTHING. They should not have replaced it.
