Islamic gunmen shouting "Allahu Akbar" attacked an upscale cafe in the Bangladeshi capital, killing 20 people inside, before police stormed the building on Saturday and rescued 13 hostages, officials said.
The attack, claimed by Islamic State, marks a major escalation in a campaign by Islamic militants over the past 18 months that had targeted mostly individuals advocating a secular or liberal approach in mostly Muslim Bangladesh.
Six gunmen were killed during the police operation and one was captured, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in a TV broadcast.
"Most of (the hostages) were killed mercilessly by sharp weapons last night," before the siege began, Army Brigadier General Naim Asraf Chowdhury said

Unlike the Orlando police who waited three hours planning, positioning, congratulating each other on their strong presence and looking good for the cameras. Afterwards, all talk in Orlando was about how good the cops did. The cops did do great, their leadership was an abject failure.

Or how about the police in Littleton, CO who apparently still refused to enter Columbine High School (Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold’s bloody rampage in 1999) even after a sign was shown in the window trying to alert them to a teacher who was bleeding very profusely from his injuries (that is why he died)?

Exactly. The overriding lesson of Columbine is that even if only one cop arrives on the scene first, he has to make entry to try and stop the killing. The cops call it a suicide entry or something similar but its the only way to save lives. Saying they might have a bomb or have this or that and not making entry means you have failed.
Could George W. Bush PLEASE have a press conference, and NOW revoke his words that Islam is a religion of peace. PLEASE...

I wrote on an earlier thread that since most of the hostages were not muslim that the government would not be concerned about collateral damage.
I suspect they ARE gays suppressing their own gayness.
The tension builds until the shout allahakbar and strike
