Wow, I follow Korean news but didn’t hear about this. I hope she is also honored by the Korean government for what she did. You tend to just get the negative about the U.S. military presence nowadays.

Lee Wang-Keon, the commander of South Korean air force operations command, who was present to offer condolences on behalf of South Koreas President Park Geun-hye and Minister of Defense Han Min-koo. We highly respect her courageous actions and will forever remember her noble sacrifice.
