Let’s imagine crime boss John Gotti is under investigation and he sees the head of the prosecuting attorney’s office sitting at a table in a restaurant. He walks over and sits at the table. What should the prosecutor do? If he’s smart, he stands up, tosses some cash on the table and walks out the door. Lynch should have nodded, smiled and declined to meet with Clinton. Both of them are trained lawyers. Both of them know how it would look. The fact that Bill intentionally took this risk means he really is concerned that probably both he and Hillary will end up in prison. The fact that Lynch agreed to meet in private, dismissing their entourages implies she is open to negotiation. This stinks to the heavens and both of them would have known that going in.

The fact that Lynch used the adverb “primarily” (talked about their grand kids) leaves open the possibility that something else was discussed. Probably a Supreme court appointment for Lynch should Hillary become president. Lynch should realize that if it did happen this meeting would dog her to her dying day.

In other words, on a private plane, parked on the ramp with an APU for a/c and electrical power, most likely catered and prepped for passengers - what they discussed could have been accomplished in a phone call.

Sorry but that would only be true for normal people. Politicians at this level have a whole different set of laws.

"Lynch should realize that if it did happen this meeting would dog her to her dying day."

She doesn't care... She already has her government retirement in her pocket.. She can always move to France and be with the rest of the mooslams.

I really believe the Progressives (liberals) have very little in the way of conscious ... They have no GOD, therefor they have no moral rules or guidepost that they live by... Whatever they can get away with, becomes immediately acceptable to them...

I also believe that this has become such a huge problem for major industries that they're forced to give ethics training to their employees...

Trying to replace morality with ethics.... Trying to replace GOD'S laws with mans rules for proper behavior... What could possible go wrong.........

MHO....

What's even more disgusting about your scenario (Lynch on the SC), is that the wimpy McConnell would probably rubber-stamp her nomination.

I spent some time recently watching a documentary about lying. The documentary is on line..Netflix has it and I assume others do as well. One thing that stood out to me was how people become immune to just how horrible lying is, and they even find their behavior more and more acceptable as they continue to do it.

Even stealing has a numbing effect as the behavior continues. Smaller thefts have a much greater impact than the fewer larger ones.

It became obvious to me that the high level of corruption we see in government has been going on for a very long time. The major players in these political/legal dramas who continue to protect and defend out right criminals are so blind to the impact and enormity of the “sins” going on around them that they can’t even see the wrong and injustice of their own behavior. If Mrs. Lynch can’t see the horrendous crimes committed by the Clinton’s for example, it’s because her own corruption is so deep, so far gone, that she’s become incapable of doing her job.

This whole Clinton foundation thing with huge donations from foreign governments for the privilege of acquiring top level security privileges is so far out of sack that it makes the Rosenburgs look like amatures. Yet, the people we have entrusted to keep justice and security are utterly blind to it. So blind in fact that they themselves need to be investigated. Thee blindness is a dead giveaway into severe corruption.

I think the ‘paper trail’ into the Clinton dealings is pretty deep and complicated, but it’s there none the less.

In my own personal dealings with officers at the federal level, thee is no doubt in my mind that extremely intelligent people exist who are more than capable of wading through all of those complicated details to come up with a truthful and accurate investigation from beginning to end. I know people like that exist because I’ve met a few. Wetjer or not those kinds of people are on the investigation team or not is the question along with whether or not they will be able to present the evidence in a court of law.

I think lynch is in over her head, that the possibility exists that she is incapable of rational and unbiased judgement. If she is so afflicted that she is incapable of recusing herself, then she needs to be recused independently.

Furthermore, each cabinet member serves at the pleasure of the president. His refusal to encourage deep exploration and prosecution of the issue tends to ring on my instincts, based on the info available to give me a ‘Columbo’ moment (so to speak) and wonder what role he played in probable illegal activities.
