Bangor is in the second CD in Maine which has become more & more conservative over time; they just elected a republican to the U.S. House. What’s of interest is that if Trump loses the state of Maine, but wins the Second CD he still gets 2 of Maine’s 4 EVs. There’s a better than even chance he can pull this off which is why he’s way up north there yesterday.

I think it’s two ev’s for the state and one each for each congressional district which would give him 1 of Maine’s 4 ev’s should he lose the state but win the 2nd district.
Minor correction: if Trump carries CD2 but Hillary carries CD1 and get more votes then he does, Trump would get one electoral vote.
Interesting that he goes their for 2 electoral votes and McCain walked away from Michigan. Trump is a scrapper, he wants every EV he can snag. Now, can we get him to Michigan, North and North East of the Detroit Metro area is a lot like Maine especially the UP in many ways ( although parts of MI are not visually not as stunning at times ). Natural market for him, I am waiting for him to make a bid here.
So how much of this Bangor Trip was also to get the Boston Media Market to cover it so that he can make Kim Jong Shrill spend more dollars trying to salvage a win in Massachusetts?
