President Barack Obama's second term in office is almost complete, leaving many to wonder what he will do when he leaves office in January. It appears the 44th President might be taking his talents to the NBA.
Press secretary Josh Earnest said Wednesday that Obama, an unabashed sports fan, has "discussed" joining an ownership group for an NBA franchise. But Earnest also added that Obama would move forward only "under the right circumstances."

The right circumstances being that it be given to him gratis. An NBA team is worth on the order of a billion dollars. Even a 10% ownership would cost a hundred million. Obama couldn't even cough up 1 percent of that.

I believe he could just issue an executive order that the team he prefers is really his own. Who would stop him? The GOP? The judiciary? Nobody. He wins.

What makes you think he doesn’t? Book sales and all.
It might do him some good. It would be the first time in his life he ever had to manage people and run an enterprise for profit. If he has a shred of intelligence (which I doubt), it might even open his eyes a little on just how destructive his policies have been.
