The whole pitch of the article is that the doctors and nurses who are on the front line in the inner cities are yet another set of victims of “gun violence”.

And of course, it’s the firearms that are problem. To make the point even more obvious, one of the next articles is about banning “assault rifles”.

The real problem is obvious but not to the authors of these kinds of pieces - it’s weapons in the hands of young criminals and gang members in the center if our cities, almost all of our cities. The issue really is, how do we keep weapons out of their hands but they wouldn’t ever think of whispering a thing.

If want to stop the murder, all we have to is get leaders who won’t flinch about naming the problem and sending the forces we need to eliminate once and for all the crime centers and the criminals even if means going door to door for as long as it takes.
