The truism is “Justice delayed IS justice denied!” The Obama / Kerry State Department is ‘slow-walking’ this as hard as they can. They are making a snail look speedy by comparison. Delay and obfuscate until the issue is on the back page and close to forgotten!
FYI: This is not a new tactic for the career bureaucrats of this Administration. The IRS / Lois Learner (AND COMPANY!) Scandal was doing the same ‘slow-walk’ in granting or denying favorable tax status to the petitioning conservative organizations. They were kept in limbo and constantly asked for more paperwork, often quite intrusive! Yet their case was NEVER DECIDED, so there was nothing concrete to complain about.

Someone who works deep inside a bureaucracy can completely stymie the guy at the top. I’ve seen it any number of times. The guy at the top would have to walk down into the basement and find the right person and pin them to the wall to get what he wants. But they never, ever do that. A federal judge needs to put the top guy in prison until his organization finds the plug and flushes it.
