“John McCain said Tuesday that it’s within their rights to vote how they see fit.”

It is also within your right to murder someone else...but you have to deal with the consequences (legally and morally).

In the instant case, many states have laws on the books REQUIRING their delegates to vote for the winner of their state’s primary, regardless of personal preference. No one has a right to be a delegate, so it can (and often does) come with some restrictions. The state delegation leader MUST inform the convention of the votes of the delegation ACCORDING TO STATE LAW, regardless of how any individual delegate actually decides to vote.

Practically speaking, if the Republicans for Hillary succeed in taking the nomination from Trump, or even damage him so much that we lose the election to that Leftist Witch, then the GOP is DEAD. Literally millions of people will not only never vote Republican again, but they won’t work in elections or make contributions. Congressional seats in both Houses will be lost by the dozen. The Party will be OVER.

There should be serious consequences for any delegate bound to Trump that does not vote for Trump. Serious meaningful consequences upon their return to their home towns. Their neighbors did not sent then to Ohio to “vote their conscience” they were sent to represent the voters that choice Trump to be the GOP nominee. Betray that trust and bad things should happen to you when you get back home.
