Happened at a college in Mississippi several decades ago. The girl was reputedly from a ‘good family’ so there wasn’t ever a prosecution.

The first student, Jennifer Bryant, claimed she thought her baby was a stillborn and discarded her in a blanket. She pleaded guilty to the killing in 2003 and was released six months into a three-year prison sentence.”
