House Democrats mistakenly release transcript confirming big payout to Clinton friend

The Democrats on the House Benghazi committee released their final conclusions from the inquiry into attacks on Americans in that Libyan city in 2012, and in the report they say, once again, that the investigation is a politically motivated sham aimed at damaging the reputation of Hillary Clinton.

But the report, which the Democrats published as a pre-emptive strike before the Republican majority releases findings likely to charge ineptitude and deception by the former secretary of state, also revealed — apparently unintentionally — details about the eye-popping amount of money a close Clinton friend and adviser made in a contract with a pro-Clinton nonprofit.

Democrats allow information about Clinton to be available to the public.

It must be a mistake.

It looks like more illegal activity from Clinton.

At the time Blumenthal cashed in bigtime on several side jobs, he was a Clinton Foundation hire, touted as the one to preserve "Clinton's presidential legacy" (cue laugh machine).

So if the Foundation Board of Trustees were not fully appraised of Sid's side jobs....foundation dollars paid Blumenthal 325,000.....there could be tax problems since trustees are fiduciaries and must be fully appraised of expenditures.

================================================

INCONVENIENT FACTOID Sid Blumenthal was the conniving Clintons' bagman---a $325,000 employee of the Clinton Foundation, he promoted dubious foreign deals and schemes in which he had a financial interest.

Blumenthal was ambidextrous---emailing Libya foreign policy messages w/ one hand....his other hand firmly in the State Dept cookie jar.

In one confidential e-mail to Clinton, Blumenthal was clearly colluding w/ onetime Amb Joe Wilson to help himself to the cookie jar.

GAME ON Wilson pumped himself as a 'director' of Symbion Power---an outfit seeking millions of dollars in contracts from an obscure government agency chaired by Hillary....the Millennium Challenge Corp. (MCC)

In September 2010, Hillary's MCC awarded Symbion $47 million tax dollars for (cough) 'power projects in Tanzania.'

EVER WONDER how much of the $47 million tax dollars got to Tanzania....after the players divvied it up among Blumenthal, Wilson, the Clintons, Obama?

===========================================

FREEPER ACTION PROJECT--DO THIS NOW: demand the MCC books be opened. We demand to know the financial details and the scope and dimension of individuals connected to the State Dept profiting at taxayers' expense.

Keep in mind that---to its donors and to the world beyond---all they knew was that the Clinton Foundation hired Sid Blumenthal to..... (wait for it)..... "promote Bill's presidential legacy." That's what Sid was supposed to be doing for his $325,000 foundation salary.

Now if the Clinton Foundation Board of Trustees signed off on the Blumenthal hire without being appraised of the full scope of his duties....that would violate state laws and place the trustees in legal jeopardy.

REFERENCES The Washington Free Beacon points out:

<><> Among the newly revealed (Benghazi) e-mails were a pair of messages from July 2011 in which Blumenthal described efforts to secure Libyan government contracts for Osprey Global Solutions, a company in which Blumenthal has admitted to having a financial interest.

<><>Blumenthal warned Clinton that French companies were looking to scoop up security contracts from the Transitional National Council, the revolutionary government of the Libyan resistance, and plugged Osprey’s ability to be an American counterweight.

<><> “It puts Americans in a central role without being direct battle combatants,” Blumenthal wrote of Osprey’s TNC contract. He described his efforts in “putting this arrangement together through a series of connections, linking the Libyans to Osprey and keeping it moving.”

<><> Clinton forwarded that message to Jake Sullivan, her deputy chief of staff, and asked to discuss it later. ////Clinton Foundation employee Sid Blumenthal had inside govt info and was constantly in touch w/ Secy Hillary.

<><> For public consumption, Sid was beng touted as a Clinton Foundation hire---the factotum hired to preserve Bill's pesidential legacy (cue laugh machine).

<><> Sid's emails show he had classified State Dept info almost verbatim (as confirmed by the NSA).

<><> How did classified info get into Sid's possession? Did he pass it on to anyone else?

<><> Blumenthal was urging Hillary to bomb Libya b/c he had profit- making business interests predicated on a new Libyan govt.

<><> Sid cunningly used scare tactics----that Obama would lose reelection if they didn't bomb Libya.

Hillary passed on this information to Obama.....did O know it came from a person he banned from govt employment?

Thanks to the Supremes ruling yesterday, this type of donation is now fully legal unless one can prove a rock solid, cause-effect, quid pro quo beyond a reasonable doubt. Good luck.

the report, which the Democrats published as a pre-emptive strike before the Republican majority releases findings

They always do this after convincing Republicans to give them a preview of the final report.

Next time, majority Republicans should just issue their report and let the Democrats go on defense.
