at 80, my mother in law became a Lady Vols fan....... big time.
eventually she moved into assisted living and covered the walls of her apartment with lady vols stuff. on game day she dressed from head to toe in orange and white. If the evening meal drug on she would get fidgety because she wanted to have all her stuff in place well before the game began. She knew all of the “girls” by name.
Pat Summit came to town and my wife arranged for mom to wrangle an invitation to meet coach summit. to the surprise of both, they had on nearly identical lime green suits. it was a fantastic day

nice story....we take my 86 yro mil to our local college womens bb game....we’re all big fans....she sits along the seats above the court for the disabled and we sit farther up.....we have a great time...
