Maybe with these recent rulings we can cut through.
If there are two things that conservative Republicans are good at, it’s standing down and losing.
Well, off to a Tucson Republican Womens luncheon. With Trump supporters!!Have a great day, everyone!!
I found my life to be much better and more enjoyable after I quit listening to Levin and Rush, so I did not return.
They lost me.
Sounds like a great time. Have fun! :-)
Hope to see you back on the Rush threads at some point again! :-)
I appreciate the thought, nutmeg, but I choose to devote the time I used to waste on these people to physical fitness, and it’s working out much better for me, mentally and physically.
In the end, it really makes no difference in my life at all what Rush thinks about anything.
As far as Levin goes, he’s just a raving nut and a fraud, so cutting him out was pure benefit.
I get it.
Heh.
It’s isn’t the fall that kills you; it’s the sudden stop at the end.
Rush is yammering on about how Americans weren’t all that united in the founding era.
So I assume that his knowledge of the Federalist Papers must be pretty meager.
From Federalist #2 authored by John Jay:
“It has often given me pleasure to observe that independent America was not composed of detached and distant territories, but that one connected, fertile, widespreading country was the portion of our western sons of liberty. Providence has in a particular manner blessed it with a variety of soils and productions, and watered it with innumerable streams, for the delight and accommodation of its inhabitants. A succession of navigable waters forms a kind of chain round its borders, as if to bind it together; while the most noble rivers in the world, running at convenient distances, present them with highways for the easy communication of friendly aids, and the mutual transportation and exchange of their various commodities.
With equal pleasure I have as often taken notice that Providence has been pleased to give this one connected country to one united people—a people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manners and customs, and who, by their joint counsels, arms, and efforts, fighting side by side throughout a long and bloody war, have nobly established general liberty and independence.
This country and this people seem to have been made for each other, and it appears as if it was the design of Providence, that an inheritance so proper and convenient for a band of brethren, united to each other by the strongest ties, should never be split into a number of unsocial, jealous, and alien sovereignties.”
“...split into a number of unsocial, jealous, and alien sovereignties.”
Sure describes us today.
I enjoy dumping “friends” if they don’t like my views they can go pound sand.
Yep. Mass Third World immigration has worked its magic.
The Brits want a “do-over”?
Heh.
A guy comes home from work, and his wife asks: “What did you do at work today?”
He answers: “I changed a light bulb”.

Hey friend any flooding in your direction?
Great. Another video that will make my palms sweat and give me vertigo.
But I always have to watch them.
Ditto.
I don’t like heights, either, anymore.
But I just had to gut-up and watch it.
Dunno why I feel compelled to watch things that scare me.
Nothing like in the south.
Raining like crazy right now...ground is saturated and my creek is rising....again.
