Here’s the deal. It’s up to you Trumpsters to win it. I live in Texas and was a Cruzer, granted I realize his far right would never won a National election, but I love him as my Senator.
I spent 5 hours yesterday trying to convince my mother, 2 sisters and brother to vote for Trump vs not voting.
I told them, yo, I don’t like Trump either but the Supreme Court picks are what this election is really about. They live in Pennsylvania (and that’s super important) and I kept saying but you have to vote.
My family is staunchly Catholic, I said I’m not sure if you heard of the bakery in Oregon or the flower shop that refused to do homo weddings and were fined and bankrupted, BUT as a Catholic this government is about to force your church and institution to perform gay marriages which is against our beliefs.
I tell them again and again if you wish the Supreme Court to go that way, then the church can either go against our principles or don’t perform marriages at all.
The Cruz I saw the last three months of the nomination fight was hardly even on the right, he spent more time sidling up to the leftist media, the violent leftist protesters, and the left wing money masters of the GOP elite.
I have no idea how you could not have noticed, but let me give you a hint: He's NOT a principled, constitutional conservative. Far from it.
You do realize that he, along with nearly all of the senate committed real, actual, as defined by the Constitution, hanged-by-the-neck-until-dead Treason, right?

Cruz is a Globalist, was pushing for 500% increase in H1B visa cheap foreign workers as well.
Cruz got himself elected in Texas claiming he was a Constitutional conservative...Did not even serve a full term before he ran for president...When Trump slapped him around, his true nature came out of the closet and he turned on the light and we saw he was in bed with the GOPe UNIPARTY and what mattered to him was NOT the Constitution and NOT conservatism, but pure and simple Washington elitist POWER...

Most important and worst of all is his vote to give Obama veto proof power to give Iran the nuclear bomb.
