Is there a free website I can simply put in my uncle’s name and find out his Korean war service record without having to give a credit card or apply on some membership?

Welcome to the Canteen, Cincy - I don't know what's out there for Korean War Vets because I haven't been looking for it. There are numerous websites geared toward vets of all wars and many unit specific sites. If you know what unit your uncle served with you can look for that unit on the web.

If you have his service number or Social Security number you can get his records from the National Archives.

Good hunting, FRiend!
