There was a pretty shaky “special relationship” between the Current Regime now in charge in that territory once known as “the United States of America”, and that husk of a withered empire once known as “United Kingdom”, BEFORE the “Brexit” vote.

Some fracture lines were in place for years before they slipped so badly.

Perhaps Scotland should leave the UK. They were never much enamored with the affections of the British anyway. And the Scots voted OVERWHELMINGLY to STAY in EU.

Based on what we have learned about the condition of Scotland lately it appears they are basically a fully developed welfare state.

It might be a good idea for Britain to let Scotland go its own way - they are probably an economic drain on Britain and the EU right now.
