Maybe taking down the Berlin Wall and reunifying Germany wasn't such a great idea.
Neither was opening the door to China.
The Cold War is looking a lot better in retrospect.
The big mistake was moving the capital from provincial Bonn to imperial Berlin.
One of my college history professors back in 1971 told the class that if you took down the Berlin Wall, it wouldn't be that long before Germany took over Europe and controlled it, achieving what they previously sought in two world wars. He was exactly right.
Not to worry. Germany is spending so many Euros on supporting all immigrants that it can not support a functioning military.
“No question about it. This is WW3. Germany and its bankers are winning by buying off pols in the other countries sucked into the EU. Their army is the swarms of Muslims and their partner in this endeavor is Turkey.”

Scary stuff. I remember an East German Communist warning against reunification by saying that there are a lot of Turks over here (in the East), you may not want them.
Of course we all laughed...until now.
