Five things Trump must do to win the election
New York Post ^ | 06/25/2016 | Michael Walsh

To hear the media tell it, Donald Trump was finished last week.

For calling a first-generation judge of Mexican heritage a “Mexican,” he had injected racism into the campaign. For firing his strong-arm campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, he admitted his insurgency was adrift. For not raising as much cash as a woman who’s effectively been running for president since 1992, he was a hopeless, incompetent amateur. And, oh yes — he was down in the polls.

In sum, for not playing by the rules laid down by consultants and political journalists, Trump was derailed, wrecked, finished.

And then things changed.

Having consistently proven the masters of conventional wisdom wrong — not only naysaying Democrats but also preening “Never Trumpers” — The Donald once again confounded his critics with a disciplined speech on Wednesday, laying out the air-tight case against Hillary Clinton by hitting her right where she mistakenly thinks she’s strongest: her foreign-policy record as secretary of state..He pounded her deadly miscalculation in Libya, which resulted in four dead Americans at Benghazi, her role in the rise of ISIS and her cozy financial relationships and personal enrichment via the Clinton Foundation with sworn enemies of America. It was a boffo new beginning.

And then, as if to make Trump’s point that we need a radical break from DC-as-usual, along came Brexit, Britain’s poll-defying plebiscite to leave the European Union and regain its national independence.

So here’s what Trump must do now to capitalize on his new found mojo and win in November:

They don’t like Walker as much as they like Trump. Who’s still in the race?

Are you a political operative by any chance?

Just wondering.

No. I meant that he lost the Wisconsin Primary, and it was a mistake to attack Walker. Conservatives don’t like Paul Ryan, so he could attack him.

So were most Latino lawyers/judges/justices I know. Nothing wrong with them. Many are now Republicans.

Trump presented his case against the judge, based upon his rulings. I know this area of the law, and, as I said, his rulings were middle of the bell curve.

Trust me here.

Trump has things to say that have merit - this isn’t one of them.

“Trump won without their advice.

And he needs it now, why?”

Amazing. how the Punditcrats and mediots each week predict the end of Trump, and each week they are proven totally wrong.

We have our concerned trolls saying the same bs that their buddies in the media are saying.

Yet each week Donald’s support grows stronger.

Most Latino judges you know are members of La Raza? And that is nothing wrong with them? Are you a lawyer or something? How do you know many Latino judges and that they are members of La Raza and they’re all right? Weird.

It’s as though the lies and criticism and attacks against Trump somehow change and turn into fuel that propels him forward.

I don’t think Trump lost the Wisconsin primary because of anything he said about Walker. There were other reasons. A lot of people in WI are just idiots. There was more to IIRC but I can’t remember the details. Walker is a weak fool.

for not playing by the rules laid down by consultants and political journalists>>> interesting... there is book published by Gallup called first break all the rules.
it’s a compedium of successful managers and how they operate. https://www.amazon.com/First-Break-All-Rules-Differently/dp/0743510119

Yes, I’m a lawyer or something. Let’s move on past the judge.

The campaign isn’t about him.

So you know a lot of Latino judges that are members of La Raza, and they’re good.

Pray continue.

In some ways.

When he left the race, he was very nasty about Trump, ultra nasty. And he was very weak on border security and illegals, very very weak.

To keep the goo goos happy, next time someone brings the issue up again for the umpteenth time, Trump should start singing:
I wish I was in Tijuana,
Eatin’ BBQ’d iguana
I’m on a Mexican radio, whoa ohhhh!

Another nothing issue the Meghens & Co. tried to ‘potato/potatoe’ Trump with.
As you say, all Trump has to do to win is show up.

You need to examine the record and the memberships that this”judge” is involved with.

It’s easy to overlook how many conservatives there are in CA. There is a strong military and former military presence.

Probably not enough to flip the state—the thoroughly corrupt union machine is just too powerful.

Then again, you can’t rule anything out this election cycle.

As for NY, I would not faint dead away if Trump took it. You’ve got the carpet bagger vs the job creator. Trump has put a lot of New Yorkers to work and De Commie-O is dragging the party down with all of his incompetence and corruption.

Hey, I will take Mexico seriously when they take the time and spend some of the drug money to clean up their water.

What a crazy culture that does not first provide a clean water supply?

Is clean water only a white thing?

White privilege = clean water?

Their lies/criticism/attacks turn into fuel for us, his supporters!
