Police in Washington, D.C. arrested a 17-year-old who plotted to kill his ex-girlfriend, her family and shoot up her school because she broke up with him and refused to get back together.
The Metropolitan Police Department executed a search warrant at the teens house last week after threatening messages were sent to the girl. The teen told the girl he would go to her home in Greenbelt, Maryland and kill her whole family, even saying he would bring friends to watch.
Police found an AK-47, 180 rounds of ammunition, marijuana and a fake ID at his home. The teen also texted the girl that he would go to Eleanor Roosevelt High School and kill her along with anyone inside the school, reports WUSA9.

A Teen, eh?
None dare call it love.
But he passed his Federal background check (sic)
This just can’t be, there are laws against teens having AK-47’s...../s
All that Stuff is illegal!
Good thing we have laws against them!........
Is the staged shooting unit at it again. Lemme guess they found a kid taking psychotropics drugs on the monitored pharmaceutical list from the DPD and cross-referenced the ATF background check list for someone who purchased an AR-15 then found him online through Facebook after setting up a fake profile and began bullying and harassing him til he snapped, right? Sure it could be that easy. Don’t tell me THiS administration isnt tracking gun sales....

Doesnt sound to me he was arrested "with" an AK
I’m absolutely sure this was an AK-47. /sarc
Meant AK-47
Could of been an AR-17!
Exactly. And we need more laws so this kind of thing doesn’t happen again.
Better give up more of our Constitutionally protected rights - that’ll show the thugs we mean business!
In the media if it’s long it’s an AK-47 - even if they’re wrong they are “raising awareness”
Just turning his life a around and started attending church, right? Right?
There seems to be a lot missing, too. He’s 17. Where are the parents?
I’ll bet he’s now looking at three months of unsupervised probation. Tops.
She broke my heart so I broke her jaw.
I know he’s a juvenile at 17, but for crimes this serious in today’s world, some juveniles will get their faces known anyway.
