What does he think - the protesters are going sing "Imagine" and have yoga lessons?

The rights of speech and assembly don’t mandate a forum for either.

What if the GOP said that they were going to excercise their 2nd Amendment rights? I wonder what the judge would rule then.

Protesters have a constitutional right to beat up Trump supporters?

If it had been the DNC Rats, this would have never seen the light of day in a courtroom.

In the meantime, Philly is building a fencewall to pen in the protesters.

Establish a protest zone at the Federal courthouse. That should make everyone happy.

And the Democrats get to put up a large fence and corral demonstrators within parks.

If the GOPe steals the nomination from Trump, and rioting monkeys & cockroaches beat up (or kill) convention attendees in Cleveland, who gets lynched first: this judge, Reince Priebus or Paul Ryan?
Doesn’t really matter who’s first I suppose, just so all 3 get it along with the vast majority of “protestors”.

There was a scheme to have approved marches over a bridge that will be closed to traffic. Besides being logistically weird (march starting at one side of the Cuyahoga and ending on the other), NOBODY would be able to see it.
I don't like the judge telling Cleveland and the RNC how to keep things safe, of course not. But the marches over the bridge? That's a bit much.

What about that part of the Constitution that states in part: The peaceful redress of grievances and all that. One group/party is more equal than another?

Let them protest all they want within the law. However, have a massive security presence with instructions to detain/arrest anyone and everyone who gets out of line, a zero tolerance policy. Also have an abundance of vans and buses to transport them to an outdoor detention facility built for this event that has space enough to hold thousands, along the lines of Sheriff Joe’s tent city.

I don’t understand. It says the judge struck down Cleveland’s rules limiting protests. In other words, Cleveland can NOT prevent people from protesting. Why isn’t that a good thing?
Maybe I got too hot earlier working out in the yard.
