Good day, I mowed early and then got a surprise when son came over for lunch and hanging out time. We had pizza and BS'ed and played video games for awhile.

I didn’t work today, so no pretties, but I did get some stuff done around here that needed doing. Have a LOT more that needs it. Do I REALLY wanna retire??? LOL! Then I’ll have no excuses. :)

Things are ok here. Too durn hot to do much outside so it’s been a putter around the house week. Boring but at least it’s cool. Cool is important! LOL

I’m gonna start a list of plausible ones. LOL!

However...my hubby makes no excuses for HIS “rest” so maybe I won’t have to.

Anyhow he mowed and edged the lawn today so he worked way harder than I did. Looks sooo pretty now!

I felt sorry for myself cause I had no ‘shoes’ (Serving under carter), till I met a man with no feet(serving under obummer).

Hey, since he makes none, you shouldn’t have to either! LOL

I have a legitimate one but it’s one I prefer not to have to use - - my bum back. I’d much rather be able to get things done than to hurt ANY day. Fortunately, the back behaves well enough most of the time.
