Surely, we will soon have seen the last of them brazenly imposing their selfish and inordinate thirst for power, all the while they enrich themselves from the incomes of poor citizens whom they claim to want to "help."

Better late than never, fatso. This was a speedy decision. By comparison it took Rush over a decade to admit that there is an illegal alien problem.
That theme comes up every election. People are not happy that the "pure" conservative didn't win the primaries, and withhold their vote on the hypothesis that once the rest of us see how bad the liberal is, we'll come around and vote for the "pure" conservative on the next election. The problem with that hypothesis is that there is no limit to how bad things can become under the left. I'd rather take the non-perfect candidate now than wait forever for that "perfect" candidate who will never exist.
How is this a hard choice? It took Rush this long?
