To: Celerity

The 4L60 predates the X5 by about 15 years. It was never installed in the X5, the X5 had a BMW designed 5 speed transmission that was made by GM France under contract. The two share NOTHING in common!!!!

Alright .. this is strange.

I was about to delve into my piles of websites and papers on the matter, proving my point about the overstock use of the 4l60e in certain 2005-2007 X5s. I even recall craigslist ads for “.. with desirable 4l60e transmission”.

But I’ve got NOTHIN. I’m looking for a gas leak in my house now, or some way to leverage “The Mandela” effect garbage.

You are absolutely right. I must have dreamed all of this crap.
