This is pretty much the last nail in the coffin for Catholicism in terms of Christian influence. If a world-spanning organization won’t even allow one little cardinal to make perfectly Biblical remarks on faggotry on this occasion, they ain’t good for much as a whole.
So far it's not the church putting the screws to this cardinal, it's the secular authorities. Now days they are the ones who burn heretics at the stake, not the church.
