The only way that the Russian gov't hack of the DNC would be known is if Russian intelligence wanted it known, because they aren't known to be all that gabby. If it was discovered by Zero's regime, and leaked, that is probably an impeachable offense, but regardless, it compromised our asset behind the lines, and did so for political gain. It's much more likely that it's a cover story so the DNC can feign ignorance when the smears begin.
