Trump is not a polished speaker but this was a good speech. He pushed a lot of the right buttons.
I am no expert, but like many I have had to take the obligatory H.S. and College speech classes, and actually did well at it. So, IMHO, his diction, pentameter, pronunciation and emphasis, were quite good for someone who doesn't claim to be a politician. Using both screens of the teleprompter I took note of as well.
By the time of the convention he will be good enough without over-practicing and might even peak, "during the playoffs" if you will.
Wouldn't surprise me if he has a coach and is on track of a game plan.
Oh ya, it was a Great speech!
I’ve noticed with his TelePrompTer speeches, he tends to stumble a tiny bit out of the gate, but he gets going good once he’s warmed up. It’s like any kind of skill, really.
Effective communication is more than just enunciating words properly We’re all so used to being BS’d, that content is everything these days. Trump is more comfortable speaking off the cuff, but what is important are the words he says.
>> Trump is not a polished speaker
Trump is an outstanding speaker.
He is not a wimp or a teleprompter zombie. People project and want safe wimps and zombies.
