This mass murder was an act of terrorism and insanity, it doesn’t really matter who the victims were. The Good Book says “Thou shalt not kill”......
When it comes to sexuality I look at myself in the mirror first and don’t get angry about other people’s approach to sex when mine has been so messed up.
I hope there is room for love and support to be expressed for the dead and injured and those close to them and I hope those close to the dead and wounded do not resort to intoxication like I have done when I was hurt by others or even imagined others were hurting me when they weren’t.
I identify with LGBT people in feeling threatened by others in real and imagined ways.
I am a drunk currently sober who has lived in fear and resentment, suspicion and hatred of others much like LGBT activists do regarding religious people.

I was thinking when you wrote that the speech was ‘slam-dunk’ how great it is that we have the Web now, and no longer have to catch a speech on network TV or only see snippets on the news.
Technology has been changing elections for a long time, but I think this election will see it full-power in a way we haven’t before.
