even if this is true (and i suspect it probably is), stuff like this is a 60mph fastball down the middle of the plate for the driveby media. they will use it to paint Trump as a kook. Trump right now needs to insulate himself with a couple of layers of surrogates to do his dirty work for him and stop his daily tweeting. learn the lesson from Bill Clinton... have a war room that convenes every day to control the narrative and send the surrogates out to push the day’s message in the media. this allows Trump to keep his hands clean from any trumped up blowback. Clinton had a whole cabal of shock troopers to do his dirty work for him. Trump should follow the same playbook. time is short. don’t make any critical tactical mistakes now. stop those f*cking tweets too! it doesn’t matter if they are accurate or not... it’s not presidential looking to go on twitter and accuse Hillary’s lesbian consort of being a Saudi spy without proof. that just makes it easy for MSNBC to book wussified establishment GOP flunkies to come on TV and denounce Trump as a racist/sexist/homophobe/nazi/etc. and there are many that are more than willing to do so (e.g. Lindsey Graham, McCain, Romney, Ryan, etc.).
