Extreme could you PLEASE explain to me WHY these idiots feel their down tickets are in danger, I am VERY confused by this!!! I may be stupid but I do need an explanation!!!!

Because the GOPe have bought into the idea, created by the Left, that Trump's candidacy is too extreme and will chase away independent, moderate, and black/Hispanic voters, causing down-ticket Republicans to lose. The objective is to get Republican candidates to denounce Trump, which will in turn anger the Trump supporters, who will then target the Republicans and not vote for them.

This is what Obama did shortly after being elected, by targeting Rush Limbaugh and trying to get Republicans to denounce Limbaugh so they will support Obama's agenda.
