It’s basically saying that we don’t think at all, we just fall for Trump because he is so irresistible. It is the basic liberal tripe that conservatives don’t think, we just follow whoever is the most superficially appealing. (It is liberal projection, of course—because liberals DO use emotion to manipulate their followers.)

Of course, if the video dug a little deeper, it would point out that you do not intuitively like someone if everything they represent is anathema to you. Bill Clinton was supposedly quite charming, but all I ever saw from him is psychopathic manipulation. Trump is likable, and he says what many of us have been thinking for a long time. Plus, he shows a quality many of us want to see in a politician: backbone.

Read Scott Adams (creator of Dilbert) blog. For the past 6 months, he’s done a very good study of Trump’s skills as a master persuader. I prefer the blog because you can see how, over time, Trump has exposed his skills as needed and constantly kept his enemies on the run.

That’s what this smarmy little Millennial is saying, but Scott Adams explain it better and part of what makes him a Master Persuader is that he knows what he wants and what you want and he creates deals (even if they are just psychological contracts) where everyone walks away a winner, even if some win bigger than others.

Of course. The art of negotiation is not to emotionally manipulate people, but to figure out what they want and how to reconcile it with what you want. In proper negotiations, everyone walks away happy.

Especially in the area of foreign policy, we need those master negotiator skills. Having a president whose foreign policy is based on the flawed liberal premise that if you show weakness, your enemies will see that you mean no harm and will stop hating you has created intense damage to the US. And Hillary's apparent belief that if you show force, you only incite enemies to attack led to tragedy in Benghazi. We need someone like Trump who actually understands the motivations of both sides.
