I offer a novel idea; teach the children to be Americans and speak proper English that they might succeed in this world.
The rest of the world is trying to learn English and the imbecile in chief wants us to embrace multiple languages, some of which have a concept of numbers that goes like “one, two, many”. Try doing advanced math with that! Oh, that’s right math is hard and being removed from the curriculum.
America does not seem to be able to stop murdering babies, trying to make LGBTQRXYZ the official religion or trying to remove God from public society.
God used Sennacherib and Nebuchadnezzar to discipline Israel when it had fallen into idolatry. On another occasion, He used even Balaam's donkey to get His message across.

Because the examples you gave were from the time when God dealt with nations, specifically the nation of Israel. He changed that at the cross. After that, he deals with each of us as individual children of God. Obama is powered by Satan and each one of us chooses whether we worship Mammon or Baal or follow our Lord Jesus. Stop wishing for a “Christian nation” and start praying for the person next to you. If we all do that, then we are doing what we are commanded to do.
Their sense of cultural identity should be American.
What about actual assimilation, especially for foreign-born children?
Their sense of -nationality- should be American. Their cultural heritage can be Hispanic or Texan for all I care.
Assimilation comes from patriotism, constitution, and knowledge of national history. Family history should include why they came to America which -should- reinforce all the parts of assimilation.
Make all children at least bilingual.
Until recently, American was multi-ethnic but uni-cultural. I guess you’re among those who wish to change that.

Ezekiel is 600 years before the Cross. A lot of things happened in between. Bigger things happened after the Cross.
On another comment I say that assimilation comes from patriotism, constitution, and knowledge of national history. I support this. I consider these the essentials of culture. Everything else is up for grabs.

Those fall outside the constitutional rule of law. Well. Some do. I don’t care who wears what religious garb. Ditto for animals. If it’s legal for vodoun it’s legal for them.
You should care because politics follow culture, not the other way around.
