believe in things like science -- and scientists

Science may be a thing, but scientists are people.

So there is a huge difference between believing "in" scientists (as though you were believing "in" ghosts)...and believing what scientists claim.

The point of science is that you DON’T believe in it! You test it over and over to make sure it’s right.
