Hewitt is irrelevant. He wants listeners for his low rated show. Two types: Never Trump losers and Trump supporters who want to be outraged. Spreading his BS is not research it’s venting about a meaningless idiot who wants you to publicize his show for ratings.

He’s not wrong. Anyone who has watched the GOP closely for any amount of time would never underestimate it’s ability to shoot itself in both feet, and the a*s.

Trump (and I am not a fan, but will vote for him in Nov.) has two characteristics that got him the nomination.
First, he is proactive in dealing with the media and does not care what they think. When he makes a controversial statement, he either doubles down if he thinks he is right, or moves on if the thinks it was a mistake. This ability to gain and maintain the initiative is invaluable.
Second, he is and continues to understand the dissatisfaction with the state of the nation. He trashes the effects of Obama without attacking the President directly (recognizing that it would p-— off some constituencies to no good end) but directly attacking those who oppose him or would continue those policies. Tapping that dissatisfaction in a way that benefits his campaign.

I just heard Cal Thomas on that same AM affiliate, and though he’s been somewhat critical about Trump in the past, this morning, on his commentary, he led off with “I’m getting tired of these so called conservative radio commentators being so critical about Donald Trump...what would they prefer, the chaos and corruption of Hillary Clinton?” Cal is on the right path...
Hewitt has been doing his little show long before Trump decided to run. I’ve always listened in order to find out what RNC insiders are up to. I don’t do it to be outraged, I get outraged because he is a classic arrogant elitist prick plotting against grassroots voters.

I looked at a few lefty sites yesterday...they have convinced themselves that there is no GOP enthusiasm for Trump, that he is an easy target for Hillary, etc.
Its like they didn’t notice the GOP primaries.

There is a real chance that our two-party system is about to disintegrate into four parties, or more.
Trump has lit the fuse on a right-leaning populist party. Bernie has established the base of a Euro-style Socialist Democratic one.
Where that takes us is an interesting question, as the structure of Congress is wholly unsuited to a multiparty system.
