Yes. California has a death penalty. The most common implementation is to allow the convict to die of old age, usually while still in confinement.

A waste of money! Those convicted didn’t consider the same when they killed or tried to kill their victims, why should they be given a long term confinement? Hang their asses and get it over with, chances are they wouldn’t be repeat offenders.

You’re sadly correct. Liberal “compassion” in the form of endless frustration/perversion of the law is the culprit.
