Muslims renounce extremism? That would like Michael Moore renouncing gravy, he’s 60% gravy.
Good luck with all that.
King Salmon is swimming against the current.
:::: crickets :::::
Must have something big planned for Ramadan. I notice he didn’t mention any apology for sponsoring 9/11 or any plans be compassionate to the invaders...I mean refugees.
In order to have a future, Saudi Arabia must reform an unreformable Wahabbist sect. The monster Frankenstien created is coming to kill his creator.
“Muslims renounce extremism?”
Only for Ramadan. The king realizes it’s tough for a muzzie to run around beheading infidels when he hasn’t had anything to eat all day!;)
Renounce extremism? That would be like renouncing the Quran.
First close the worldwide Madrassas, or convert them to schools that actually teach reading, writing, and ritmatic. Second send the religious police back to their desert backwaters to meditate and reflect on their backwardness. Ramedon is particularly hard this year as it falls in the period of longest daylight, with more time needed to spend fasting. Wonder if “religious” ISIS actually does this?
Wave after wave of strategic bombers would be the best way to start off ramadan in Saudi Arabia.
Boycott got it right:
Extremism isn’t the problem.
The problem with islam is fundamentalism.
The problems arise when they follow the Qur’an.
The problem with islam is muslims.
Be pessimistic.
When a Muslim Prince, whose nation is part of the OIC, gives reference to a matter that would almost certainly be covered by OIC declarations then it should follow that what they say in an official matter WILL be actually just that: using OIC material as a reference point.
As such, given that the OIC recognizes Islamic Law as the basis for their understanding of concepts like “extremism”, it doesn’t follow that when this prince speaks against such that he will mean anything like so-called “progressives” mean by it.
It is certain that this Saudi Prince would not consider Mohammad an extremist ... and probable that.he might consider Muslims who fight against Muslims without cause (as “cause” is understood in Islamic Law) to be so and, likewise, non-Muslims who take up arms to resist Islam.
I’m not saying here that he does not consider folks to be extremist beyond what Sharia might, he may well be of the mind that, entirely contrary to the teachings of Mohammad, it’s okay for non-Muslims to not live under the various demands of Sharia ... but if he does believe that he’d best tread carefully if he continues to live in the Middle East.
the cure for this mess
is the electric car
does not need Saudi oil,
runs on US coal
Trying to bring the camel into the tent after it has burned down.....
They funded the extremism.... Tom Tancredo their asses.
F the inbred saudis
Kill extremists themselves and save American troops the trouble...?
Never happen.
The fact is, they admire their nutjobs.
I guess the devil is in the details. What exactly does he mean by extremism? One person’s extremism is another’s normality.
