RANCHO CUCAMONGA >> As the slight, victimized 12-year-old boy sat in a witness box during his uncles sexual abuse trial, he tensed up, slumped a little in his chair and reached his hand toward something out of the jurys sight.
His small hand found the warm and dark head of a black Labrador, Lupe, and he began to stroke her fur.
Still nervous, the boy was able to relax slightly and continue with his testimony testimony, which coupled with additional evidence and corroborating witness statements, helped a jury convict his uncle, Mario Hernandez, 59, of Upland, of years of sexual abuse that began when the boy was only 3.

Much more story at link.
How can such things be possible in Upland?
The story says Rancho Cucamonga so I’m not sure it took place in Upland. I could barely read this story it’s so sickening.
One of the courts for my county is in neighboring Rancho Cucamonga.
Even in the “City of Gracious Living” such things happen.
Yes, sick and not uncommon. We have been reading this for over 2 decades in California. Now they want it to be everywhere.
Oh yeah, that’s right. I’ve been at least once.
I mean I’ve been to that courthouse.
Way too much of this kind of garbage in our country.
Cases like this are so sick they should result in conviction and immediate execution.
The story is so horrific, the ‘reporter’ spends most of his time writing about the dog.
Yup, and one single sexual abuse is enough. Repeated one’s over years and years deserve even more punishment.
I noticed that too. The dog deserved only about one paragraph in this story.
These must be those family values that don’t stop at the Rio Grande.
Damned homo.
And also, I think id forge a signature on the homework, or just skip it.
Here’s hoping Mario meets Donkey Kong in prison.
Donkey Kong or Donkey Dong?
Never says if the boy obliged or not. I hope not.
I know I shouldn’t laugh on a thread like this, but I just spurted a mouthful of Pepsi on the desk at Donkey Dong. lol
