Today is D-Day my friends. 72 years ago today, many men gave their life on a beach in Normandy. God bless each and every one of those brave men.
Morning Sneakers 79 degrees here. Nothing for breakfast I have a sore throat and can’t eat anything without pain.
Hopefully the Pens will bounce back after that heartbreaking louse.

My Great uncle was at D-Day.
I’ve talked to several people who had dad’s or uncles who were there that day. I have a roll of papers called a “National Salute” that was issued on the 50the anniversary of D-Day. I found it in a drawer. My mom must have picked it up at a garage sale. It is a roll of many pages of names - thousand of names - of men who were there. I promised it to a co-worker who’s husband’s dad was there as well as five other relatives. I kept forgetting to give it to here. How fitting that I will be giving it to her today!
