The narrative I read from a Trump event attendee was that the area was set up so that people leaving the event had a run a gauntlet of protesters.
The people leaving the event had to walk past the protesters. This was a setup by the mayor and the chief of police.
It has backfired on them big time.
Yes it back-fired. But I wish Trump’s people would ensure that his supporters don’t have to be subjected to this in the first place. Trump has enough money he could provide better security.
It seems to me that the only "gauntlet" the Trump attendees need to pass through is one of volunteers (BIG ONES preferred) who will line the exit route, facing the mob, all armed with wasp spray and batons.
